Good Bad Good

Good: As a very thoughtful congratulatory gesture, my professor gave me a dollar bill with which to buy a bottle of soda.
Bad: He handed me one of the most folded, spindled and mutilated dollar bills I’ve seen that hadn’t been deliberately defaced.
Good: With a little bit of coaxing, I was able to convince the machine that the bill was in fact legal tender. Caffeination achieved.
