Dear Darrrrryl,
  What a fortuitous and not at all planted question! If you want to see all of the questions and answers as they’re posted, you can add the Ask LBB feed to your favorite feed reader program. Then, you’ll get to see every update I make, until the day when my bitterness finally dissolves my fragile organs, and I die choking on my own bile. Enjoy!

  So I was doing some blog maintenance, adding tags to old entries. I didn’t realize it would republish huge swaths of my archives in one shot. Sorry to everyone whose feed readers/friends pages were overloaded with my drivel. I’ll go back to three posts a week now.

  I’m thinking I might try illustrating a question and answer every now and again. I worked up a picture for the Fanta question, and I’m going to post it tomorrow morning. I’d appreciate hearing if anyone has trouble with feeds or other displays; feedback about the picture itself is also welcome.

  For those of you reading Ask LBB on Livejournal or in a feed reader of some sort, I have no clue why Blogger suddenly decided to republish more than a dozen of my recent entries. Unlike the last time this happened, I wasn’t muddling about in the archives, or doing anything else that could have caused it. Blogger just seems to have had a Gary Busey moment. Sorry about that.

I’ve added some new functionality to Ask LBB. There’s a new RSS feed, as well as an email subscription service. Your inbox, it burns us!

  If you’re reading Ask LBB in a feed, today is a good day to wander off of your electronic front porch and take a gander at the stuff in another neighborhood. I’ve made some changes to littlebaldbastard.com, including a new banner and an updated list of links to interesting stuff.

  Because I’m nobody’s design professional, I’m just using a slightly tweaked Blogger theme. The banner is all me, though, and I think it turned out pretty well. I hope you’ll stop by and check it out.

Since we’ve brought our new authors on board, you may have noticed some changes in the posts coming through your favorite feed reader. We’re updating more regularly, and the average post length is growing like a rogue Trapper Keeper.

In order to keep the RSS and Livejournal feeds from turning into a screen-killing torrent of word doom, we’re going to switch to syndicating summaries of the entries. You’ll have to click through to the site if you want to read the full-size posts.

Unless there’s a big a uproar, in which case we’ll think of something else.

EDIT: Okay, I lived with it for a few hours, and I can’t stand the arbitrary way the post summaries just cut off in mid-sentence. I’m going back to including the full text in the feed. I am giddy with my minuscule power.
