  Congress just keeps on getting stupider. A House subcomittee has voted to eliminate federal funding for public broadcasting within two years. Read about it here, do something about it here.

Congress Threatens Funding For Public Broadcasting

  House Republicans are moving again to eliminate funding for NPR and PBS, starting with a 23% cut in funding this year, and ending with a complete end to government support in two years.
